Missoni for Target : 25-Foot Style Blogger

Well if you have not yet felt like bloggers are being put on a major media pedestal than maybe Marina will change your mind. For the launch of the Missoni and Target’s Collaboration Mother New York created a 25-foot blogger they call Marina. The concept was to bring her around different NYFW events dressed in custom Missoni and have her “live” tweeting. A small idea executed in a grand way. I mean anyone who entered a room and saw Marina would react in some way.

Missoni Menswear S/S 2012

After flipping through  too many menswear collection with zero impact for S/S 2012, I got to Missoni, which I can always count on for an emotional lift. The colors and patterns add to this knitwear remixed look that I have always associated with Missoni. I especially loved the knitwear suits, looked like a jogging de luxe!

Missoni’s Resort 2010/11 Collection is full of color and youth with its strong tribal references and shortened silhouettes. Though both the Missoni Collection and the M Missoni Collection’s seem to to be deeply inspired by the 60′s, they bear very different aesthetics.
