I really enjoyed this story of Tribal Mash-Up prints that Teen Vogue did. It was all about the mixing of different fabrics to depict a range of playful styles. We introduced this Trend awhile back, see here.

Following up on a Trend we recently reviewed about Pattern Mixing, you should see the Suno Fall 2009 Collection. With their second collection Suno is going strong on the colors and African inspired textiles. After creating their samples in NY, they send them to Kenya where the garments are produced in small workshops by artisans. This collection is inspired by a mix of East African and downtown NY women. Girls you are lucky! I would love to see a cool African inspired collections for Men.
