In TrendStore today we are going to Budapest, to see inside the Nanushka Beta Store, where five architecture students (Daniel Balo, Zsofi Dobos, Dora Medveczky, Judit Emese Konopas and Noemi Varga ) have created this awesome temporary fashion store with just a 2000€ budget, a billowed canvas canopy and a sliced firewood floor.

As if getting out of a store weren’t hard enough already. The mind-blowing design of the Zuo Corp. pop-up shop in Warsaw makes it nearly impossible.
Designed by Polish architects Super Super and Inside/Outside, the shop’s interior ceiling and walls are completely covered with mirrors, with LED lights lining the edges, creating an illusion of boundless space and endless clothing racks—all within a 27 square meter area.

Continuing with the pop-up store phenomenon that we seem to be in the midst of,Louis Vuitton has teamed up with Japanese retail brand Seibu (info), in opening a temporary outlet in Seibu’s gigantic Ikebukuro department store in Tokyo – The Louis Vuitton/ Underground/ goes with a raw and industrial look and is completely different in terms of interior than other Vuitton spaces. LOUIS VUITTON underground is a concept store, and will only be running for a limited period of time…

Maybe you weren’t in LA when the Lichtenberg pop-up store began at New High Mart. The opening party was a success, but more importantly this bold experiment in retail marketing is taking off, especially with the recent Paper Magazine 24 Hour Pop up store.
