Shooting a celebrity is not something easy, most of the time, you do not have too much time to prepare, and with their busy schedules, the shoot might last only 30 minutes, so you have to bring out the best of them and Chessum is apparently pretty good at it…

The creator of SquareAmerica.com trawls flea markets and garage sales seeking out vintage-photo treasure. Scanning and categorizing grainy snapshots of American history (taken by mostly amateur photogs) the site is a curious journey of the 20th century.

What Was On - Apparently before DVR or VCR’s people would document historic TV with a camera lens. It seems almost ridiculous nowadays to be snapping the TV screen but these homemade screenshots of 1950′s news including the assassination of John F. Kennedy and moon landing are pretty cool.
