We know by now that ready to wear innovation comes with no shortage to the Proenza Schouler duo. Each season their collection stands out in its direction and fabrication. Though not shy to borrow ideas from the past Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez always find a way to remix it and make it all their own. We definitely felt the retro inspiration in the Proenza Schouler S/S 2012 collection. They also revisited the eel skin used in last seasons collection for detailing and to create dynamic texture. The New York Times Style Magazine will feature a new website that will feature celebrity designer guest bloggers . Proenza Schouler designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez will kick things off on Monday, blogging a minimum of five entries throughout the week. The next week will feature Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Harold Koda and Andrew Bolton, who will blog about their upcoming exhibit, “blog.mode: addressing fashion.” In January 2008, the website with have guest bloggers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana of Dolce & Gabbana, as well as Rick Owens.
