Timothy James Andrew Knit Madness

Another ‘hard to wear in the street, but great for photoshoots’ UK based Knitwear designer Timothy James Andrews. Aztec geometric shapes and colorful patterns with Tetris in mind and a bit of 60s sci-fiĀ  – Timothy’s collection looks great but you wont be able to wear it in the street before 2020 without looking like a freak (except of course the more subtle pieces) or if you are a ‘Trendy Londoner Raver‘ (ei Cary of Casette Playa ). Fashion is Art my friends – and this is a perfect example of that expression!

Showcasing his new AW 09/10 collection, “A-Block-a-Brick-Toe” as well as some of his older collection…

Always A Place For Tetris

People one generation ahead of me will tell me that Atari is their childhood game, but for me, the first game I can remember is Tetris ( and well, Duck Hunt, since they came on the same game.) I love seeing people sing Tetris acapella, I love dancing to that eerie Tetris music, and I truly appreciate the current Mikontalo Lights Project. The lights of a building are the Tetris pieces, and are controlled via cellphone. According to their website, Mikontalo Lights project essentially aims to create the world’s physically largest colored graphics platform, using the windows of the Mikontalo dorm’s D-staircase as light pixels.
