Named after a Victorian euphemism for a woman’s skill in the bedroom, designers Nikki Dekker and Maayan Zilberman have created intimates that balance provocation and humor, intelligence and sensuality with their The Lake & Stars label.

The collections showcase the creative duo’s strong, classic, sexy aesthetics and the new Spring/Summer lookbook 2010,  shot by New York based Tom Hines, completes the feminine and sensual look with a little hint of danger.

Another style of photography by Tom Hines; we can probably call it Hitchcock Fashion (obviously shot with film). This series is actually the lookbook for the F/W 09/10 campaign of fashion label Lorick New York (the 3 last images are from Safe Spring 09).   This is a perfect example of how important it is for brand to have a strong lookbook, first, people will remember it, and second, it will spread all over the web like brush fire….
