Just yesterday we were talking about Christopher Raeburn and the relevance of his latest designs in the future of sportswear trends. It’s no surprise, with that on my mind I came across these one-of-a-kind/ prototype designs by Post-Vernissage. Though each garment is fabricated from varying fabrics including rubberized cotton, pvdf textile, polyester and silk they all share a common aesthetic related to the theme of techy-sportswear trends.

Sheer Trend, Transparency Trend or See-trough Trend is hot for this summer ! Sheer fabric is certainly nothing new, but this Spring’s looks gave way to downright see-through fabrics. Although some of the sheerness can be layered away. When styled in the correct way it can be very feminine and sexy, yet quite demure at the same time. Young, talented and informed Russh Magazine Market Director and designer Kym Ellery is bringing it with her trend infused FW 09/10 Collection. Cut-outs, metallic’s, lace/transparencies, Balmain shoulders, harem pants and even a bit of grunge, all served on one platter. Its great to see some great RTW fashion come out of Australia, though they always lack a bit in their execution when it comes to fabrication and finishing of a garment, I have a feeling she has it down. I have yet to get my hands on the collection but its looking very good!
