Prada has always been very creative with their lookbooks. Once again thinking outside the box, they hired extremely talented Illustrators, Art Directors and CG artists. Their latest ‘MotionBook’ (or Video lookbook) is a real piece of art ! Titled Real Fantasies they used the service of Director/producer James Lima, Art Direction/Artwork by OMA and photography by Phillip Meech to create this awesome 2min psychedelic video – Have a look below.
High heel lover Tabitha Simmons has gone one step further for A/W’11, presenting an exclusive video as part of the her new season lookbook. Directed by her designer-cum-photographer husband Craig McDean, the short black and white video showcases a selection of Tabitha’s quintessentially British shoe designs found upon a pair of lean tap dancing legs.
The beautiful Kate Bosworth dances for Vanessa Bruno in this short fashion film entitled LOV, directed by Stephanie Di Gusto. The video features the new A/W 2011-2012 collection in mix of surrealistic landscapes and mysterious femininity. Watch it below.
Based on his first ever Resort 2012 collection and video presentation, it is safe to assume Henry Holland must have teleported to Guatemala in the 80′s sometime this year. For his presentation he collaborated with Mariano Vivanco to create a spoof off of Neneh Cherry’s ‘Buffalo Stance’ (1989) video, only his features Eliza Cummings wearing his Resort 2012 collection and covering “Buffalo Stance”.
For the latest A/W 2011 Willems Wonderglasses collection, German photographer Monica Menez directed fashion film ‘Precious’ where modern girlfriend is baking a pizza in a very ‘sexy’ way. Beautiful shot with great framing, lighting and styling. Watch the film below.
One more time Agent Provocateur seduces! Private Tapes is a series of short, ‘home-made’ film clips of women displaying Agent Provocateur’s Autumn/Winter 2010 lingerie to a video camera, in what appears to be her hotel room. A great “voyeuristic viral” concept, since these video are only web based and that the stills from them make up the lingerie lookbook…
