TrendHome: Grete Prytz Kittelsen’s Home [Norway]

This minimalist Mid-Century style Norwegian cabin was the home of Grete Prytz Kittelsen: the “Queen of Scandinavian Design” as she often was called. Built in 70s’ by well known ‘Modernist’ architect Arne Korsmo, the house surrounded by nature, the open space layout featured a lot of natural lights with floor to ceiling windows. Used by the couple as home and place to work, they often gathered their artist friends and colleges here for seminars and exhibitions.

The house in these images is quite empty, not many personal items are left, since the house just been bought. The architectural work is brilliant, and the use of teak throughout make the ambiance very vivid.
